Yet to the fledgling marketer’s surprise, no hits are being registered and in spite of tweaking and pruning the site every which way from Sunday, the traffic is still only trickling in, most of it being accidental rather than targeted. The sad reality is simple: unbeknownst to the new network marketer, the lovingly crafted site she or he spent so much time working on was blacklisted! Do not let search engines blacklist your network marketing product site!

Granted, the fledgling marketer from the example above probably was not quite as pure as the driven snow and instead may have engaged, wittingly or unwittingly, in some rather shady online practices which most major search engines will view as an immediate reason to blacklist the site. * Perhaps the most egregious offense is the use of irrelevant keywords within the website’s metatags or even within the body of the site just to generate more hits. Do it one too many times and your site will no longer be included in the search results.
* Beware the lure of the mirror site. Once again, this methodology is a blast from the past when it was thought to guarantee a higher ranking within the search engine’s ranking hierarchy. Yet with the advent of optimization procedures, mirror sites are considered to be a relic of the past and those who continue to utilize the technology that in the past allowed them to submit the exactly identical site with a different URL to a search engine will find that neither web address will be accepted.

There are a number of other tips, tricks, and schemes employed by those who design websites for their network marketing product. Do not fall for the lure of easy rankings at the expense of the integrity of your site. Multi-level marketing (MLM) is also referred to as network marketing. The MLM is essentially a type of business model that combines direct marketing with franchising. The term business model describes a vast range of informal and formal models that are used by companies to represent various aspects of business, such as operational processes, organizational structures, and financial forecasts. The MLM business functions by enrolling unsalaried salespeople to sell products and meanwhile earn additional sales commissions based on the sales of people enrolled into their downline, an organization of people that includes direct recruits, recruits' recruits and so on. This arrangement is similar to franchises where royalties are paid from the sales of individual franchise operations to the franchisor as well as to an area or region manager. There can be multiple levels of people receiving royalties from one person's sales. New MLM members may be required to pay for their own training and marketing materials, or to buy a significant amount of inventory to start their career.

The compensation plans vary from one MLM business to the other, but there are basic plans in place. The Unilevel or Stairstep Breakaway plans are the oldest and most popular in the MLM business. These plans features two types of distributors either managers or non-managers. The pay method of these plans includes Baseshop overrides where there are overrides of managers from their subordinate non-managers. This method is the same as any other type of sales organization. Generational overrides are overrides of managers from the baseshop of managers who were previously their subordinate. Most plans compensate at least three generations of such managers. Executive bonuses are commissions for managers who exceed a posted sales quota. For example, 2% of the total company sales revenue may go to a bonus pool that is shared monthly to managers who exceed $10,000 in that month. Commissions are based on the aspect of cycles, where a distributor is paid a fixed amount whenever both legs achieve a certain number of sales units each. Commissions are paid incrementally when the sales volume in each leg matches.

In recent years, the MLM business has developed an image problem due to its resemblance to the illegal pyramid or other similar schemes. MLM businesses operate in the United States in all 50 states and in more than 100 other countries around the world. Many pyramid schemes try to present themselves as legitimate MLM businesses. In the legitimate MLM companies, commissions are earned only on sales of the company's products and/or services. No money may be earned from recruiting alone through sign-up fees, though money earned from the sales of members recruited is one attraction of MLM arrangements.

A commonly adopted test of legality is that MLMs follow the so-called 70% rule which prevents members "inventory loading" in order to qualify for additional bonuses. The 70% rule requires participants to sell 70% of previously purchased inventory before procuring new orders. There are however variations in interpretations of this rule. Some attorneys insist that 70% of purchased inventory should be sold to people who are not participants in the business, while many MLM companies allow for self-consumption to be a significant part of the sales of a participant. The Federal Trade Commission offers advice for potential MLM members to help them identify those activities that could be scams.

You may not think of it at all. Maybe you base it on whatever you speculate your relationship is to the person you’re writing to. But email sign-offs mean a lot more than you might think. They say something to the person receiving the email, and what that says can be good or bad depending on your choice of words. You wouldn’t dream of writing “Love, So-and-So” at the end of your business email, but there are those in the field who use equally ridiculous sign offs. Here are some of the more popular email sign offs and whether or not you should use them in your business emails.

One of the most popular salutations in the business world is a simple “Thanks,”. It’s safe, it’s polite, and it’s professional. However, it’s also a little familiar and should be kept to those emails where you actually have a personal relationship with the person to whom you’re writing. Avoid using it if you have nothing to actually thank the person for. Then it may come across as the slightest bit snotty, as if you’re sarcastically thanking them for reading your email. Overall, however, this is a decent salutation you shouldn’t be afraid to use.

One salutation to avoid at all costs is, “Ciao”. This should only be used for personal friends or informal emails. Never to business associates or customers. “Ciao” is not only informal, it can also come across as cocky and annoying, which is definitely not what you want to project to anyone you’ll be doing business with.

The best work related salutation you can use is simply “Sincerely”. Some may argue that this closing is best reserved for a letter and too formal for email, but it will never offend anyone and no one can argue that it’s unprofessional. If you want to mix it up with some other closings there’s nothing wrong with that, but few people are going to stop at that “sincerely” and think, “What? Does this fella know it’s just an email?” It’s perfect.

Other email tips include foregoing the use of caps lock in your messages. This is read as yelling or screaming in internet correspondence, and it’s not appropriate for a business email (even if the effect you’re going for is yelling or screaming). It should go without saying, but you should also avoid the use of foul language in your business correspondence. You may be tempted to forget this rule if you’re writing to a business associate that has been known to have a salty mouth. Don’t. Cursing in person and putting profanity in an email are two different things. Other than that, you know the drill. Keep it professional, and keep it interesting.

Over the past several years, businesses have conducted surveys of their employees trying to determine what it will take to keep them happy on the job. For those that believed that paying higher wages would be the key to reducing employee turnover, the results of the surveys have been surprising. Not only was pay scales not top on the list, in most cases it barely made the top five reasons stated for employees to stay with a certain company.

Entry-level positions, according to the surveys, provide the main source of frustration for new employees as they are often thrown to the wolves to fend for themselves.

When people enter a supervisory position it is normal to expect them to take responsibility for their own training, but with a front-line employee, usually making minimum wage, the attitude that they are not getting paid enough to do a particular job, is not really a knock on the pay scale. Also consider the employment rate in the area and if it is high it may be a sign that not many people can afford the luxury of buying donuts on the run. Usually what happens next is you receive a list of companies that at one point registered to use secret shoppers. However, they all have their own criteria and you will have to apply to each company before they will consider using you in their secret shopper program. That is if they still use them or if the company is still in business.

A few applicants actually get hired by a couple of companies as secret shoppers and find out that part time work can be eight to ten hours a month, if not less. Etiquette for online business is virtually the same it is for offline business:
* always be polite
* show respect
* listen/read intently
* go out of your way to satisfy any and all customers’ needs
* never fabricate information to mislead or suit one’s own business interests
* be willing to negotiate

These are no-brainers although, unfortunately many of those involved in business (both those who run businesses and the general public) do not always follow them. This is either because they do not know, misinterpret or simple do not care. In the end however, despite desperation or personal gain, using appropriate behavior will always ensure better service and reception.

Of the most important and critical forms of business etiquette is that of communication. How, when, where, for what reasons and the identity of those with whom one interacts all play a significant part in which practices one uses through communication.

Of course, one should always be polite. This rule is universal and absolute (probably one of the few ‘absolutes’ there is in the business or any other type of social interaction). Being polite means that you care about servicing, not to mention looking professional, to the other person involved in the transaction. Politeness is the true sign of a civilized mind. This makes others feel comfortable and even draws their interest into the venture and maintains it throughout the duration of the said transaction. It also reflects respect for that other person. Without a doubt, politeness and respect are indeed most important and non-disputable. These are both virtual laws to be obeyed by everyone at all times!

The market cannot be ignored by anyone wishing to enter an industry with unlimited growth potential. These days, it seems like everyone wants to work

money and, of course, it doesn’t happen now
without me making sure that the taxes are filed
and the paperwork is done. But it happened.

I’m my own boss. I work from home according to my
own schedule and I get to pocket all the cash my
business makes. If you’re prepared to give an
e-business the time, the work and the money it
needs to get started and get growing, it can
happen for you too.

Surely you know how to do something better than anyone else you know. If not, research is your friend. If you can write, then you have all the tools necessary to create one of these powerful money making informational e-Books. It costs nothing, and you can sell it for any price you wish. The result, minus insertion fees, is pure profit.

Regardless of what you finally decide to sell, you will have to provide a decent product for a competitive price. Just like in the rest of the world (perhaps even more so), eBay is strictly run by the law of supply and demand. There is too much competition online to think you will make a success of your eBay business with anything less than full dedication and the perseverance needed to make any small company work in the long run.

Before you send for information on an opportunity to build things at home that come with a guaranteed customer base, ask yourself why this offer is being made online and not given to people in the same neighborhood as the business. Understand there be a charge to send the pieces and parts to you as well as a charge to send the finished products back to the company hiring you to assemble the products. Why they don’t simply hire people in the neighborhood is because that is not where the money is.

The pitch is usually about assembling products at home, that anyone can do. They will promise to send all the parts along with a list of companies that will be willing to buy the products you build. If you pay for the parts, assemble the products and sell directly to the buyer, you can keep the profits. Sounds too good to be true, because it is. Once you pay for the parts and they arrive at your house, you will likely find that one or more specialty tools may be needed to put the items together. Tools that aren’t usually found in everyone’s toolbox.

However, you’re in luck because this same company also sells the tools, typically at a ridiculous price, along with shipping but it just seems like a minor inconvenience and a cost of doing business to get into the assembly business. After all, you’ve told that if companies like your work, there will be plenty more business just waiting for you.

You build the first few items, to the exact specifications in the plans and start to send letters to these waiting buyers who may request a sample of the product you put together. After you send it in, postage at your expense of course, you will probably receive a letter with one of two usual rejections. Either it does not meet their specifications for one reason or another, or they have seen a huge increase in supply or a sudden downturn in demand. Remember, you probably were only one of several thousand who answered the ad.

There is a good chance that most of the companies on the list will have the same answer to your inquiries or maybe one or two will offer to take the inventory off your hands for a fraction of the cost that you have in them. Your choices seem limited by selling them at a loss and consider it a valuable lesson, or you try to sell them on your own. You can congratulate yourself for paying top dollar for low-quality materials and tools so you can build something no one wants.

There are companies offering legitimate assembly work and before you buy any parts and new tools, verify the potential buyers are legitimate and talk with them directly concerning their specifications. If the company will not give you names and numbers of these resellers, don’t give them any money.

The use of viral marketing has been growing and simply involves having internet users distributing your advertising message of their own free will. This resulted in advertising being sent out by the user of the free email, every time they sent correspondence. While the sales were based on the recipients’ clicking on the link in the email, the number of click was relatively small, but by percentage based on the number of emails sent improved as more people took advantage of the free email offers, the commission from the sales more than paid for hosting the email service.

That’s right, at no cost to you, the company will accept you as a distributor for their products and give you a website and any sales that come from your site will result in a huge commission check. On top of that, if you can recruit more people to accept their free website, then you can receive a commission on their sales as well.

All of this is free and sounds good on paper, but when reality sets in you will soon learn that there is no such thing as a free lunch, or website. Yes, most of these companies will give you a free website, a replication of their own site and it will be configured with your name or company name on the landing page. It will also track the visitors that place orders through your site and yes, they will pay the promised commission. The challenge for you is getting visitors to your specific website.

This is when the free website begins to cost money. For sake of argument, consider a company sells vitamins and you are now a vitamin distributor for its brand. Chances are, you have joined a group of more than 100 other websites selling vitamins for the same company and you all have the same title on your website. A person searching for the company name may end up with a choice of 50 or more sites with the same name as a result of their search, and research shows that most user only look at the first 10, and in rare cases 20, of the top search results.

The odds of a search making your site one of the top searches is extremely low so you will have to become involved in network and online marketing just to make your site standout. Additionally, if you did manage to recruit others into the program, you have added to the competition. Print advertising that includes your specific website name may work, but most internet savvy users know that anything past the “/” in a site name is usually meaningless.

Your site’s name for tracking purposes is for instance, www.vitasales.com/urname and people only type in vitasales.com, they will end up at the company’s main website. You did the advertising and will receive none of the financial benefit because the sale did not come from your site.

You can spend more money by producing articles about the benefits of vitamins, with a signature link that includes your web address, but most free distribution articles are not picked up. Paying for distribution to a few hundred potential users increases the chance of them being used, and while the cost may be small, it will need to be recurring if you hope for any type of success.

For most home business owners and many small business operators, their idea of a profit and loss statement, P&L in business parlance, may be oversimplified. If they had more income than expenses, they made a profit. If not, they had a loss and will usually try to find more business or increase prices to turn the trend around. By better understanding their own business’s profit and loss statement, they will be able to determine not only how much money is earned and spent, but also track their expenses to gain better control of the finances.

The first thing to remember is that there is a difference between a budget and a profit and loss statement. Income is projected and expenses are budgeted, based on the income projection. If the income does not meet the forecast, certain expenses will need to reigned in to make the profit and loss statement come in on the plus side at the end of the month.

The business’s P&L can be as simple or as complex as you choose to make it, but the more tracking of expenses that you do, the better handle you can have on what needs to be done to control your profit amount. For example, you can simple include a line in your expense column pertaining to utilities and lump them all together. However, to get a better picture of where your money is going, you will want to break them down into subcategories such as electric, gas, water and telephone.

By keeping them separate you may see a need to bring telephone costs under control by eliminating unnecessary lines that seldom ring or find ways to save on your electric costs. If you deduct for business use of your home, you will have a pretty good idea of what your costs for utilities, rent, insurance and other expenses will be based on the percentage of your home’s cost deducted for business use of the home.

One of the first things to budget, which has the greatest impact on your P&L will be income. Whether you sell a product or service, you will need to track all forms of income, as well as allow for deductions due to refunds and rebates and any discounts offered as customer incentives. Tracking this on the P&L is fairly easy, as if the money comes into the business it is considered income. The source can be itemized as well to help indicate how you may go about increasing income.

Expenses in the budget can be calculated as a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of income, which usually provides greater control over spending. Itemized expenses on the P&: can also make filing income taxes easier as you will have a monthly record of how much money came into the business as well as where every dollar went that left the building.

Many people have tried to succeed in the business world and indeed in terms of the successes or failures of different people, there are three general categories that can be used. Firstly, there are the people that are failures; people that really have no success and after a period of denial are eventually forced to give up on their business and go do something else. Then, there are the people that are successful; they are able to parlay their business into something that earns them a nice five figure income that they are satisfied with and can live on. And finally, there are the people that are enormously successful; these are the people you hear about all the time that become millionaires and are able to live a life that is the stuff of dreams because of the money that they have.

The question that most people will ask themselves in regards to this scenario has to do with the difference. Depending on the specific case, most people can figure out the difference between the first group and the latter two groups; it usually has to do with a lack of motivation, a lack of perseverance or the inability to deal with failure and just move onto something else. However, the difference between the second and third group is harder to figure out; after all, for the most part those two people start off the same and a lot of their business development is the same getting to the point of a five figure income. What, then, becomes the difference later on?

Well, in the majority of these comparisons, the difference has to do with a lack of diversification on the part of a person that has the five figure income. If a person builds a business that makes then $75,000 a year, then they might realistically have no problems whatsoever with that income. This is because the person might have all their needs met in a nice way and not really want to try and increase their income.

However, the person that goes on to eventually become a millionaire is not going to be satisfied with that amount. They will take as much money as they can spare and instead of spending it on a lifestyle enjoyed by a person with a $75,000 income, they will re-invest it. Either into another business or back into expanding the one they already have. This kind of person is not interested in living the lifestyle of a $75,000 income person; they want to make more money and have no problems living in less luxury now if it means they can live in more luxury later. A person like this has an income figure in their head from the start and keeps on working at it until they are making that income figure; usually through diversification.

Before joining hands and taking the plunge into the work at home pool, you will need to take a hard look at some of the potential obstacles.

The first item on the list of possible problems is the fact that you will be spending almost every waking hour with your spouse. While compatibility in a relationship can hold it together just fine, you must determine if that compatibility can withstand another eight hours a day. Making the change from business partner to husband and wife every day can be a tough transition. You will not be able to leave all of your work problems at the job and home problems at the door.

Make sure your goals for the company are in line with those of your spouse. By sitting down and discussing the goals of the business you may learn that your idea of what to expect from the business may be contrary to what your spouse is looking to achieve. You may want to eventually expand and franchise the business while your spouse wants to simply make enough money for the family to live comfortably. If your goals are not aligned, your business will probably fail and so might the marriage.

The first company the wise entrepreneur should look at is Nike. The company is the largest sportswear provider in the world. At the start of the eighties, it was basically Apple and IBM in a race for first place. Thousands of homes all over America had Apple personal computers on their desks. But just a few scant years later, the PC was king, Microsoft was everything, and Apple was forgotten. Though they maintained a place in the marketplace with mildly successful software applications, they didn’t break through again until the late nineties with a product called the iMac. This computer was revolutionary in virtually no way, other than its marketing campaign and its exterior design. With its translucent, colorful shell, the iMac went on to become a major success, and give Apple its first profitable days in five years. This was of course followed by the enormously successful iPod and iPhone, and today Apple is in a better market position than ever before.

Studying companies such as Apple and Nike (and thousands of others) is important for a variety of reasons. Not only can these companies relate terrific stories of how to succeed in today’s world, but they can be mightily inspirational for the up and coming entrepreneur. Nothing makes working from a home office more frustrating than not being able to find anything when you need it. While most business owners see themselves as being busy all the time, some of your time has to be spent in staying organized. If not daily, at least once a week you have to set aside time to put everything in its place. Most mechanics have a rule that there is a place for everything and everything needs to be in its place.

Many people have to find the time to do things over, but seldom have the time to do it right the first time. To keep your office running smooth, consider your desk the focal point of the office. All of the equipment that is frequently used needs to be within easy reach of your desk chair. If you have to get up every few minutes to answer the phone, grab a fax or check the printer, you are wasting several precious minutes everyday reaching for things. Files that you are currently working on should be in easy reach, whether in a file cabinet next to your desk or in an upright file holder on your desk or adjacent table.

Ideally, you can pull al the files you intend to conquer that day and have them ready to work on at any time during the day. Files you are not going to touch should be put in their proper place so they can be easily found when they are needed.

While it may seem easier, especially for caffeine addicts to have their coffee pot near their desk, it is a bad idea overall. First, too much coffee can be bad for the health as well as a contributing factor to extra bathroom breaks. However, the primary reason is the potential for a damaging coffee spill by drinking coffee at your desk. Everyone needs to take a break from their work periodically, and having the coffee pot in a separate room can force you to take a few minutes to clear your head.

One of the biggest myths regarding starting your own business is that you are doomed to failure unless you have a natural aptitude or a natural talent for business. Operating a business from home does not mean that your life is an open book for the world to read. You will have to set specific boundaries between your work life and your private life in order to insure that your family is not interrupted by your work. You will need to establish specific working hours for your home business and at the end of the day go home. If you let your business consume every waking moment of the day, you will quickly burn out as well as causing an interruption to your family’s life.

If you can afford at the start of your business, have a separate phone line installed that is strictly for business. Use an answering machine for after hours calls and unless a client or customer leaves a message that it is an emergency, call them back the next business day. If possible, do not give out your home telephone number as a contact number. You never know if little Johnny or Susie will answer the phone leaving a bad impression on a potential customer.

There are many services that will cross boundaries between your work life and your private life and understanding where they meet will help you keep your sanity when working from home. When you first start the business, it may be easy for your spouse to ask you to get things done around the house while they are at work. You will need to remind them gently that you will be working and no, you don’t have time to finish the dishes, or throw a load of laundry in the washing machine and you definitely don’t have time to paint the bathroom.

Unless the business requires you to meet with clients and there is no way around it, do not entertain business associates at your home. In fact, clients probably should not even have your home address. Using email and the telephone for client contact is in the best interest for privacy, as you don’t want an irate customer banging on your door while you eat supper with the family. A post office box is not overly expensive and can be used for most shipping and helps protect your family’s privacy.

Remember, this is your business and you need to remember that your spouse and children are not employees. You may be working out of a home office, but it is still your family’s home and you need to make sure you have definite boundaries established. Just as you do not want them crossing into your office space while you are working, you need to show the same respect to your family by not allowing work to cross into their private space.

A budget is everything to a business; it is the epitome of professionalism as well as the lifeblood of good planning. It is absolutely impossible to do anything well in business without a budget to go by and indeed in the cases of some more established business models it is actually illegal not to have regular budgets that show exactly what is going on with the business in a financial sense.

When it comes right down to it, planning your budget is one of the most crucial things you could ever hope to do for your business. A properly planned budget that is then executed well is going to be a great help to any business and of course a poorly planned budget is going to be the downfall of most businesses; usually before they've even had a chance to succeed.

So, what exactly makes a good budget? Well, reducing it down to first principles any budget that has inflows to cover the outflows is a good start. More so than that however, the inflows need to be at least equivalent if not in excess of the outflows and the outflows combined have to create something that is competitive to the business itself.

A good rule of thumb when it comes to making budgets lies along the lines of the cost efficiency principle. The cost efficiency principle basically states that you should not be afraid to spend X dollars if you are going to get Y dollars in return with Y being at least equal to X if not greater. Now, this is an interesting concept but some would argue it is not one that is particularly tenable in the earlier stages of a business because a business needs to spend a lot to get itself off the ground.

This is a good point, but one that is superficial at best. While each item X may not result in a gross income of Y, you can always add items together in order to receive that result. If you have X + Y + Z resulting in A + B + C and both of those equations are equal to D, then there is really nothing to worry about because overall you are adhering to the cost efficiency principle in your budget.

This is exactly what good planning for a budget is. You identify what needs to be done from a financial sense and then you make sure to carry it out in a way that allows you to maintain the cost efficiency principle. Don't ever spend money in a business unless you expect to get money (or something as valuable as money) out of it; otherwise, what is the point of going into business in the first place?

The planning stages of a business tend to be a bit hectic if for no other reason than they are where you really are given the chance to develop the plan for your business that you will refer to thousands of times over the course of the life of your business. One of the numerous things that you need to decide during this time (or at the very least give some thought to) is what type of business you are going to run. This has nothing to do with the actual business niche itself, but rather the actual legal type of business that you are going to be involved in. There are a number of different business types in the legal sense and while those types vary from country to country, there are general consistencies along a few major distinctions.

The first of those distinctions is the business type known as a sole proprietorship. This is the most common business type simply because it is the easiest one to start with. A sole proprietorship consists of the business being wholly owned by one person and therefore being associated with that one person. The business expenses and liabilities are assumed by that one person, but at the same time that one person has total control over everything that the business does. Sole proprietorships are free to start in terms of legal registration and do not require a separate tax return in most cases as the income from a sole proprietorship is usually just reported as self employment income.

Taking the next step up from a sole proprietorship, we come to the concept of a partnership. There are a number of similarities between the two business types and the most obvious ones to point out are that partnerships are cheap and easy to run in the legal sense because all of the partners can usually just report their share as self-employment income rather than requiring another tax return for the business. The partners also share responsibility for the business by default in a legal sense unless there is an agreement that specifically assigns responsibility to one partner.

Up from a partner is a private corporation. This is a business that is a separate entity from the people that run it; all of the liabilities are the businesses and for the most part the people running the business can not be held responsible for those liabilities. However, the maintenance of a corporation requires regular fees to be paid as well as up front registration fees and regular records of the business affairs must be kept along with regular board meetings. Also, a separate tax return for the business is required because it is a separate entity.

Depending on the kind of person you are, plans for things are going to be either completely familiar to you, somewhat familiar to you, or not at all familiar to you. While it is not necessary to have a completely detailed business plan before you start (especially if your business is online, but also if it happens to be offline), there are some things that you should generally be aware of at the very least before you take towards building up your business.

The first of those things has to do with figuring out the topic that your business is going to be on. This is not a topic in terms of something that a book needs to have, but rather a topic in terms of what your business is going to be about. For example, if a person wanted to open a restaurant, then there would be a culinary topic to their business. If someone wanted to blog, then the topic would be whatever they wanted to blog about. There are a number of different topics available out there today and choosing one for your business is perhaps the most important thing you can plan ahead of time.

Now, when most people are choosing the topic of their business, they tend to use one of two methods. They will either choose a business topic that they are very familiar with, love doing and would really have no problem doing for free, or alternatively they will choose a business topic that they think would generate a lot of interest in the demographics that they can reach. If you are on the internet, then the demographic you can reach is endless, whereas if you are off the internet, then you need to be aware of the people that live near wherever your business happens to be.

While these two methods of business topic choosing both have their ups and their downs, neither one is inherently better than the other. There are certain situations (i.e. blogging for a profit) where one might be obviously indicated as being the better one, but for the most part you can get along choosing either of those two things.

That idea brings us to the big question; how do you know which one of the two methods you should choose? Well, it once again depends on the type of person you are. If you are a free spirit, not really interested in too much planning and willing to take a chance just to see where it takes you, then choosing something that appeals to you and that you would do for free might be the way to go. If you are the meticulous type and are good at keeping things organized, then it would seem that going for the more likely profit would be a better idea. It largely depends on you and while neither of the two choices is wrong, it is very important that you are confident in the choice you make.

It’s just a dollar here and a dollar there. Those dollars add up fast and before you know it the twenty dollars in your pocket is gone. By not carrying cash you can help stop impulse buying. If you still prefer to carry cash, your best bet is to only take what money is necessary to spend. Give yourself an estimate of what your groceries will cost you. Take only that amount with you. This will help curb the need to purchase excess items, knocking you off the budget track

Always shop with a list, to help prevent unnecessary spending. If you make a weekly or biweekly grocery list, you will only be purchasing those needed food items.
